Making a difference in Ethiopia

We’ve recently wrapped up one of our most ambitious projects to date: the complete overhaul of the NGO Ethiopia Reads’ web presence. With its new infrastructure in place, the literacy-focused organization is now able to better manage its activities, from collecting donations, to sending mass newsletters, to creating events and selling tickets to fundraisers. We’re very proud that our work is directly contributing to the well-being of children in need.

About Ethiopia Reads

Founded in 1998, Ethiopia Reads (ER) has been a leader in building youth and children’s literacy across Ethiopia. Their first library was established in 2003, and since that time ER has built more than 72 libraries spanning every region of the country, shipping more than a quarter million books and serving over 130,000 children per year. ER supplies books, library furniture, and critical librarian training, mentoring and networking to library staff – most of whom work in school-based environments.
